Fox & Weeks funeral assistant Mike Brady a Marshall's Aide for St. Patrick's Day Parade
Fox & Weeks funeral assistant Mike Brady will serve as a Marshall's Aide for St. Patrick' Day Parade Grand Marshall Hugh E. Coleman this after serving on the St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee for the past 38 years. Brady, who has been with Fox & Weeks for more than 31 years, has played a variety of roles throughout the years. Fox & Weeks lends a limo to the St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee each year, and Brady has the honor of escorting the Grand Marshall to four breakfasts and Mass at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist before the parade begins. Brady spent 10 years on the Executive Committee for the Parade Committee and served as the Assistant Secretary for seven years. From 1996-2011, Brady was responsible for recruiting bands to play in the parade, and he set a record in 2008 when he brought in 52 bands to march and play in the parade. Brady is a member of the Irish Heritage Society and Friendly Sons of St. Patrick. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a lifetime member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars post 4392.
