Celebrating the life of
Anthony Waldrop
December 29, 1972 - July 11, 2023
In every life there comes a time to transition from Earth to Fairer Climes. For Anthony Joel Waldrop (born December 29, 1972) that time came on July 11, 2023. Beloved Father (Sons Alan, age 11 and Julian, age 6), Husband (Wife Janice), Son (Carolin (deceased) and Stan Jones; Myron Waldrop (deceased)), Brother (Alicia Burnette and husband Brian), Nephew (Jason Waldop), Uncle (Alex, Cohen, and Joel Burnette), Cousin and Friend (Many+Many More). Loved, missed and mourned on Earth. Now Sheltered by the Grace and Glory of his Savior. Life unto Death unto Life...the flesh perishes, Memories gird and protect those of us bound to Earth, the Loving Spirit enters the Gates of Eternity. Amen!

Anthony is the first person and friend I made in Savannah. He completely epitomizes kindness, loyalty, generosity, and a spirit of helping anyone in need. He would go to any length to help others. What an incredible soul! Your kind and loving spirit is missed already, Ant! You are always my friend, my brother. I love you buddy! God bless you my dear Hermana, my sister, my friend, Janice. You, Alan, Julian and Wowa are in my prayers. I love you all. You are not alone on this journey. The God of all peace is always with you. He is as near as your very breath, and He has promised never to leave you. Psalm 23

A profound loss, even for having known Anthony, for only a handful of months. We shared a sense of humor (A rare thing.) but absolutely nothing in terms of craftsmanship: How could we, the man was an accomplished "maker." Rest In Peace, Anthony.
- Toly Siamos, Savannah, Georgia

Janice and Family-so very sorry to have heard the news last week. I am still in shock. My parents even remember meeting Anthony and what a special man he was. He was always smiling and a great conversationalist and he knew how to put a person at ease. He was great at mediating any issues that came up. We will miss him greatly as our Property Manager and Friend. My love to you and your boys.

Janice , i’m just heartbroken over the news. I have known Anthony a long time and had the opportunity to see him every 4 weeks for many , many years. He was one of the most genuine , kind and helpful people i have ever known. I remember how excited he was when you two connect and his trips to see you , etc. He was truly happy with you and the boys and loved you all dearly. I feel so lucky to have known him. God bless you and your family. Rob

Anthony was my landlord in Savannah after moving 12 hours away from my family during COVID to pursue my masters. He was the kindest landlord I've ever had. He was always answering my questions (and my mom's!) with a smile on his face. He even helped me as I moved out of my place just to be kind. My family and I are so saddened to hear of this. I was looking up his information to send to a friend looking for an apartment because of how wonderful he was. May he rest in peace. I think of him often and how easy he made my time in Savannah.

Dear Waldrop family, we just learned of Anthony’s passing. We cannot tell you how very sorry we are for your loss. We spoke many times about how kind, caring and thoughtful Anthony was to our daughter when she lived in the apartment on Oglethorpe Ave and how comfortable we felt knowing he was taking care of the bldg she was living in while attending SCAD. He was an angel on earth. Not many people around like him. Praying for strength and comfort for you and your sons. Sincerely, Rob, Sue and Erin Neupauer
