I am very sorry about the loss of Ernie, and I offer my sympathy to Doris, Mark and all of his other relatives and friends. I remember him fondly from my college days when he was still in junior high and high school. He was always an open a friendly person to me when I would visit Mark in their home. I am so glad I was able to visit him after he retired. I know he was a very happy person, enjoyed retirement and was devoted to Doris, Mark and Maribeth. He will be missed.

I remember meeting Ernie when he was in high school and I came to their home in Windsor Forrest to pick up Mark. He was so friendly and had a great sense of humor. He also had a pet rat!! When I came through the front door I accidentally let out James and Sherman the dogs that were escape artists . Besides hunting and fishing Ernie enjoyed baseball , tennis and golf as a spectator sport. He attended the Masters as often as possible. I remember hearing a family story about Mr. Johnson writing a letter to Ernie Johnson the professional baseball player to let him know he had a son named Ernie Johnson who was a very good high school baseball player. My thoughts and prayers are with the Johnson family. Angie Decker Tybee Island, Georgia
