Kerry Michael Teston

Kerry Michael Teston, age 57, of Brooklet, GA, passed away on Thursday morning, April 27, 2023, at Memorial Hospital due to congestive heart failure. Kerry was born on May 10, 1965, in Waycross, GA. He graduated from Wayne County High School in 1983 and completed several occupational classes throughout his life. Kerry worked at Ross Systems & Controls in Savannah, GA.

Kerry lived life to the fullest and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He enjoyed playing golf with his son Michael and attending his baseball games. Kerry had a large family whom he loved dearly, and he enjoyed making candles and teasing his wife, Sherree. Together, Kerry and Sherree made many trips to Disney World each year, which he loved even more than his wife did. He would often joke that it was his escape and relaxation.

Kerry and Sherree lived in Richmond Hill, GA for over 20 years before moving to Brooklet, GA a year ago. Sherree will continue to live there.

Kerry is survived by his wife Sherree Teston, whom he loved more than life itself. He also leaves behind a daughter, Katherine Teston Niven and her husband Michael Niven of Jesup, GA; a son, Michael Teston of Richmond Hill, GA; two stepdaughters, Brandy Short and Britney Hendrix and her husband, Shane Hendrix of Pembroke, GA. Kerry leaves behind 13 grandchildren: Dylan Pittman, Kendall Pittman, Jamie Pittman, Mason Short, Loghann Hendrix, Caylee-Grace Hendrix, Cane Hendrix, Case Hendrix, Gatlin Hendrix, Hunter Anderson, Mckenzie White, Bentlee Niven, and Axel Niven. He is also survived by his sister and brother in law, Kim and Bill Newbold of Richmond Hill, GA. and their children, Eva Newbold of Washington DC and Will Newbold of Richmond Hill, GA.

Kerry was preceded in death by his stepfather, Al St. Lawrence of Savannah, GA, and his grandparents, Eva and Henry Watson of Jesup, GA, and Clinton and Mildred Teston of Jesup, GA.

Kerry's father, Bob Teston and Marge Teston, live in Fort White, GA, and his mother, Patsy Watson St. Lawrence, lives in Savannah, GA.

A visitation will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 29, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 PM at the Fox & Weeks Islands Chapel.
