Celebrating the life of

Timothy Bryan DeLoach, II

October 29, 1976 - April 22, 2023

Timothy Bryan DeLoach, II

Timothy Bryan DeLoach, II, passed away peacefully at home on April 22, 2023 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Tim was born in Jacksonville, Florida on October 29, 1976 and lived in many southern locations through his childhood. Tim was a proud graduate of Marshall University, where he attended on full scholarship. He went on to complete a master’s degree in school counseling from Georgia State University. Tim had an eclectic professional career, yet he always found a way to use his gifts in counseling to support those around him- whether that was in his work at Chris Kids (a non-profit organization in Atlanta for which Tim worked with victims of domestic violence) or in his time as a Realtor in Savannah, most recently with Weichert Realty. Tim will be most remembered for his quick wit, his love of baking, his exceptional gifts with gardening, and his deep devotion to his family and loved ones. Tim is survived by his husband, David Langley, as well as his immediate family (Tim DeLoach, Terry King, Lisa Kirk, William King, Bobbi Lopez, Joshua DeLoach, Lesli Campbell) as well as his mother/father in-law, brothers/sister’s in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who felt like family.

We are so sorry to hear of the news of Timothy's passing. Uncle Tim, Terri, Josh and Lesli will be in our prayers. Having 3 Aunts and 2 Uncles has created so many Cousins, more than I can count or name. It's a shame we are all spread out across the country and really don't spend time visiting each other. I'm sure Timothy was welcomed by Mammaw Bessie and Pawpaw Earl. Rest in peace Cousin!

Bobbi my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I am sorry for you losing your brother Take care Cousin. Rest in peace Timothy.

Timothy, you fought so long and so hard yet you never gave up your sense of humor. Unfortunately, due to lives going in all directions, I must admit I didn't know you as the accomplished adult you became. I will always remember you as a tall, lanky, blue eyed, blonde teenager. Mischievous and funny! I'm so glad you are not suffering anymore. Go rest high on that mountain, you have earned it! Live you always, Aunt Bean

Although many in Tim’s family were not in a position to share much of his life after college, we all hold very fond memories of him and his joyous playful wit. No one did it better than Timmy. My children grew up with him. I extend my love and prayers to David, the DeLoaches, and all who knew and love him. Special prayers for his siblings, my nieces and nephews. They say the pain is greatest in the loss of a child, so I send an extra special hug to my sister, Terry, and Timmy’s father Tim. Love to all.

Tim and I spent a year living and traveling together. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones! While his laugh and his smile were indeed electric, also special was when he got mad and let me know what he thought......in German. (I don't speak German) Tim placed his family and his friends first. Always. While I'm sad he's gone, I'm glad he's no longer in pain.

I'm in great grief to lose not only my first born, but a true mirror of myself. He exemplified the utmost courage to fight to the bitter end and never lost his love of life and all you wonderful people who supported him through his darkest hours. To all who loved him, to all that miss him, be of good cheer because he will be forever in our hearts. He truly was a shining light even when he faced his darkest hours. I love you son.
