Celebrating the life of
Rick Alan Sammons
August 31, 1974 - April 13, 2023

Rick Alan Sammons, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and amazing friend unexpectedly passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at his home in Windsor Forest.
Rick is survived by his wife, Hollie R. Sammons; his children, Jessica Danielle Sammons, Summer Michelle Sammons, Allison Nicole Sammons; two sons, Lil Ricky Youmans, and Jackson Sammons. Rick was the most amazing brother to Larry Sammons, Marsha Jividen, and Jodi Graham. He also loved his nieces, Carrie Graham and Lisa Sammons, and his two nephews, Cody Brown and Jacob Quackenbush. Rick will also be watching over his granddaughters, Kaisyn Gadson and Wynter Biggens, and his grandson, Zion; and a host of other relatives that will all dearly miss him.
Rick was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Zipperer Sammons; father, Teddy Jack Sammons; paternal grandparents, Sam and Lessy Smith; and his maternal grandparents, O.H Zipperer and Essie Zipperer.
Ricks whole world was his family. He would always (when not working) be doing things or planning to do things with his family. He loved every moment that he spent with his wife and children. Rick loved without reserve and gave of himself without hesitation.
Besides his family, Rick’s passion was being on the water. He loved spending time in the boat. He enjoyed the leisure rides with his wife or fishing with his son, Jackson.
Rick was the proud owner of Action Roofing and Siding Co. in which he was able to use his awesome craftsmanship to always make all his customers very happy.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 21, 2023 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m.. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for you to consider making a donation to Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors to assist Rick's family with the cost of his farewell.
