Celebrating the life of
Edward James Lee
August 13, 1947 - March 14, 2018
Edward James Lee passed peacefully in his sleep on March 14, 2018 with his loving wife Jane of 49 years by his side.
Born in Philadelphia, he grew up in Horsham and graduated from Hatboro Horsham High School in 1965. He earned his Associates Degree in Business from Lansdale School of Business where he met Jane, the love of his life.
Ed was drafted into to the Marine Corps in 1968. He gladly served his country in Vietnam and was honorably discharged in 1974.
He worked for The A&P Superfresh Company for 36 years. He went on to work as Purchasing Agent for Crystal Chemical Company. He and Jane then retired to Savannah, GA.
The joy of his life was spending time with his family. He coached Little League for both of his children. He also enjoyed traveling, fishing and entertaining his many friends.
He is survived by his wife Jane (Ridgeway), daughter Jennifer Lee of Milford, NJ along with his granddaughter Kelly Firesinger, his son Michael Lee with his wife Lisa of Merion Station, PA, and his brother Francis Lee with his wife Margaret of Warminster, PA.
He will be inurned in the columbarium in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
