John Franklin Finch
September 27, 1951 ~ February 5, 2023
Johnny has gone to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Johnny was a native of Savannah, GA, and made his home in his beloved California for 31 years. Johnny was of the Baptist faith and retired from his successful landscaping business, as he always loved the outdoors.
Before settling in California, he traveled to every state, including Hawaii and had so many interesting stories to share about his travels and the lovely and welcoming people he met. One example was staying on a Native American Navajo Reservation in Arizona for a week. He blended in well with his long black hair.
Johnny was predeceased by the love of his life, Livita J. Wiffle Finch, being married for 26 years. Parents, 2 sisters, 1 brother, and 4 nephews.
Johnny will be sadly missed by his sister, Judy Muthersbaugh (Carl), several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Johnnys ashes will be spread with his wife’s at their favorite place in California.
A Private Celebration of Life will be held by the family.
Johnny was a good person, always there to help friends out. He was a kind-hearted person, who loved his cats and his best friend Lavita----miss you Johnny
