Celebrating the life of
William "Bill" Kriener
May 24, 1951 - January 26, 2023
Mr. William “Bill” Kriener, 71, Tybee Island, Georgia, died Thursday, January 26, 2023. He was born May 24, 1951, in Danville, Kentucky, son of the late Harlan Kriener and Ruth Tammee Kriener. He retired from the Georgia DOT.
Survivors include his wife, Marcia Kirkland of Tybee Island; sister, Ruth Ann Donaldson (Doug) of Southport, NC; brother, John Kriener (Carol) of Elon, NC; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Susan Kirkland Higdon (Mike), and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00, Friday, February 3, 2023, at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors Islands Chapel. The visitation will be at the funeral home from 11:00 until 1:00 before service.
Marcia, I was so sad to hear this from Randy but we know he is now pain free and at peace. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. He was so sweet to me and will always be remembered that way.
