Annie Myra Smith White

May 16, 1932 - December 01, 2022

Annie Myra Smith White

Annie Myra Smith White, 90, passed away peacefully December 1, 2022, at her home in Savannah. She was born May 16, 1932, in rural, middle, Georgia to the late Robert and Etta Smith. She grew up on Tybee Island where her dad managed a general store.

She married Jim White of Savannah on April 23, 1947, where they made their home until his passing in December 2008. She was a lovely lady and dedicated Christian who attended worship at Southside Church of Christ on Middle ground Road, where she taught children’s Bible class. She also managed the Medical Arts Motel located next to Memorial Hospital; and she assisted her husband Jim in his appliance business. She was a devoted wife and mother to her family, whom she dearly loved. She will be missed.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lee Smith White and a brother, Robert F. Smith.

She has three surviving children; a daughter, Carol White Lollar (her husband, Ken Lollar) and two sons; Jeffrey Kirk White, and Wade Farrell White (his wife, Robin White).

She leaves behind two grandchildren; Brett Adrian Lollar (his wife, Maria Lollar) and Vicki Lollar Howell (her husband, Buck Howell); and also four great-grandchildren; Harold Lollar (his wife, Chelsea Lollar), Adrian Lollar, Walker Howell and Wyatt Howell.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that donations be made to Right Steps, Inc. A graveside service will take place 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Forest Lawn cemetery.
