Derek Allen Drake, 41, died Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Hospital after a short illness.
The Las Vegas, NV native was born on January 18, 1981 to the late Wayne Edward Drake and Jackie Thornton Drake.
In addition to his mother, Derek is survived by an aunt, Margaret Congdon (Gary); and three uncles, Jimmy Thornton, Larry Thornton of Las Vegas and Richard Thornton (Cara) of Lodi, CA.
Derek will be deeply missed by so many. His friends celebrated his life on September 17, 2022 at the Dew Drop Inn.
Rest in paradise, Derek. I am so sorry we were never able to reconnect.
