Karl John Dreisbach, 84, of Savannah, GA passed away into peace on September 19, 2022. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra (Smoyer) Dreisbach; a brother, Phil of Palm Springs, CA; sister-in-law, Trudy Dreisbach of Newnan, GA; brothers-in-law, Marvin Smoyer of Alexandria, VA and Bruce Smoyer of Charleston, WV. He was predeceased by his brother Wittiam.
Karl was a graduate of Muhlenberg College and served in the military. He retired from Erie Insurance in 1994 as a supervisor of adjustors and litigation specialist.
He and his wife spent many wonderful days golfing, skiing, sailing, horseback riding and traveling. He moved to The Landings in 2000 where he pursued golf with a passion.
One of the highlights in his life was participating in the Liberty Bell Trek, a bicentennial reenactment of saving the bells in Philadelphia from the British by carrying them on horse and wagon to Allentown, PA.
Interment will be private at Skidaway Island United Methodist Church Memorial Garden. A celebration of life will be planned in the future. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Savannah.

Sandy. Jean and I want to share our condolences. Karl was a great friend and loved playing golf with him all the many years. He never changed his demeanor no matter his performance on any particular day and unfortunately a trait that I could not share with him. I am told I wore my emotions on my sleeve. Our prayer rugs are out for you Sandy. Will and Jean
