Barbara Burke was born on April 3rd 1961 in Savannah, Ga to the union of Ernest and Elease Mitchell in Savannah, GA. She completed her education at Groves High School in Savannah, GA. She was a resident of Beaufort, SC for many years with her then love & husband Jackie Burke.
Although Barbara did not have any children biologically, she loved and nourish her niece/daughter Tamaya Grant, bonus son Kari Wiggins & her furry companion Mishka as if they were her own.
Those that knew Barbara knew her as a kind, fun, outspoken and warm-hearted person that enjoyed everything that life had to offer. She was always the life of the party. Never shy about making others smile and laugh in her presence.
Barbara departed this life on Monday, September 5th, 2022. She was proceeded in death by her father and mother: Ernest and Elease Mitchell, and her brother: Michael Mitchell.
She is leaving her family and friends to cherish her memory.
