To Ms. Sybil, Robert Jr., Rick, Eric, and Elaine my heart goes out to you. I thought the world of Robert. He was a good friend, and a member of my Sunday School class for a number of years. He was a very valuable asset to our class, and to Southside Baptist church. He had a strong faith that was easily recognizable to everyone. I feel fortunate to have known him, worked with him in RAs. and served with him at Southside. My wife Dixie, and I pray for Gods peace, strength, and comfort to be on the entire family.

Robert was a good friend of mine and great co-worker for Stormwater Department. He was very knowledgeable about engine repairs and equipment. I have always appreciated the time that he took to fix my lawnmower many years ago that is still running today. He will be greatly missed. Dear Sybil & family, so sorry to hear of Robert's passing. My mom, Martha Williamson, was married to his Great Uncle Clifford for 39 years. It has been a long time since we have seen Robert but have memories of him when he was younger. May God give you peace and comfort at this time. Mom also sends her love. When I look at Robert's pic, I see his dad, Bobby. He favored him so much. We have lots of great memories of Bobby, Virginia, Wanda, Robert, Judy & Anita. May God bless!!!

I'm very sorry to hear of this news. While working with Robert at the City of Savannah, it was noted how genuine and dedicated of a person he was. I was always intrigued when discussing with him his own home projects. He was very proud of those and should have been. May he be blessed by the hand of God!

Sybil, Robert, Eric, Rick, Elaine and family, Committed, loyal, hard worker, family man, devoted husband, father, and provider and veteran. Perfection will not be obtained for any of us in this life. But Robert Williamson Sr can be seen as a man working hard on all these things. He was Quiet, humble and it would probably be said of him that he tough and expected much. Your mom and Your dad has thought y’all something so valuable, to work hard !! They lead by example. Y’all are all committed and loyal. I know your dad is very proud of you. I will be praying for you all as you walk this journey of missing your leader. Trust God to provide all your needs. And take care of your mamma. She is blessed to have you. Praying for you all in the days ahead.
