I am heartbroken to hear this news of Aunt Liz. I loved her so very much and have such wonderful memories of her babysitting us and being spoiled! And in SEMCO office again she would let us play at her desk and get us snacks! Her Christmas fudge was the best! Aunt Liz will be missed so very much. Sending prayers for the family.

Remembering dear Elizabeth from our years together at Juliette Low Elementary School, and my rejoining at Jenkins High School, Class of 1968. She was such a delight - sweet, kind & funny. Having known Arthur through these years also, I was so happy to know that they had found each other as true companions. But, in these moments of loss, words are useless. May God rest her sweet soul. May peace be with her, her family and loved ones. God bless.

To Elizabeth’s family, I was deeply sorry to hear of Elizabeth’s passing. She was one of my classmates from Jenkins class of 68. She and I talked a while back about rehoming 2 greyhounds of her neighbors . I learned what a caring animal lover she was. I send Deepest Sympathies at this difficult time. Elizabeth will be greatly missed. The next school reunion will not be the same without her there. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Deepest Sympathies, Donna Sturgess Stewart

Phil & I are so very sorry for your loss. She was a grand friend and a great neighbor. We had grown apart in recent years due to both of us moving away from the old neighborhood. She was always kind and decent to everyone. She will be missed.

To the family of Elizabeth, I am so sorry to hear of the death of Elizabeth. I spent many years as one of this precious girl's classmates. She was someone I was always glad to be around. She was an easy, sweet, kind and bright soul. I can remember how so many of us were delighted that she and Arthur fell in love. I last saw Elizabeth when our class took a photo at the original Jenkins High School. That was the day before the building was torn down to make way for the newest school. Ah- times do change. I am thankful that I was raised with such dear people and Elizabeth was certainly quite dear to all. I will think of her often. The photo of Elizabeth and Arthur that you chose for this obituary is just lovely. Gail Brown Rountree, Savannah, Ga.
