Oh, Eric, you were such a unique individual and sadly missed by your friends at the Landings Dog Park. You could hold forth on just about any topic. I enjoyed our many discussions about political developments in Africa and the world in general. Of course we rarely saw eye to eye on US politics but that made our friendship special. How you loved animals, dogs in particular. You knew the name of every canine at The Dog Park as well as that of their owners. Our island became such a quiet place with your passing. Now that you have crossed the Rainbow Bridge, you will see your many pets who have been awaiting your arrival. The Lord be with you, old friend.

Eric was a great character, and a man of great character. We had many robust discussions during the days I took my fur babies to the dog park. You were the mayor of the D.P., but so much more. You went way too early and will be missed by many.

I was shocked to receive a reply to my message to Eric from his sister telling me that Eric had passed. We visited daily at the dog park. He was a remarkable human being. Hopefully Zoey is in good hands. My prayers are with you.
