Michael Eugene Bowman

Michael Bowman, 54, of Savannah GA passed away after a long illness.

The lifelong resident of Savannah was born on December 7, 1967 to the late Artie Eugene Bowman and Gail Zipperer Bowman Strausbaugh.  Michael attended Calvary Day School. Jenkins High School, and Armstrong State College. He was proud of his Scottish heritage and loved to attend the Scottish games. As a true Savannahian, he looked forward to and enjoyed all the St. Patrick Day festivities. Michael was a proud member of the Georgia Salzberger Society and a loyal Georgia Bullodogs fan. His passion was music and history.

Surviving are his sisters, Cherise Bowman and Shannon Bowman; his extended families, the Strausbaugh and Blake families; nieces and nephews, Madison Bowman, Daniel Robertson, Jr. and Ali Robertson, Erin Mullis and Marty Mullis, Brenden Robertson and Julia Timms, and Andrew Roberson and Stacie Robertson; and many other family and friends that will miss him dearly.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 25, 2022 in Bonaventure Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Michael’s memory to a charity of your choice.
