Dear Kathy and Tommy. I am so sorry to hear about your mom. She will always be my Aunt Bette. I remember spending the night with she and Uncle Tommy shortly after they married. I was in awe at her beauty, personality and how much class she had. I have thought about her often through the years and hoped she was happy. I missed her at our family gatherings and always wished she would come. Lately, I have been thinking about her a lot, and a week or two ago I told myself I was going to get her phone number and call her. Oh, how I wish I had. I wanted to come to the service, but the day before, my furniture was delivered in Inman, SC where I now live to be close to Kelly, my daughter, my two grandchildren and my two great granddaughters. Pug and I were saying the other day we never thought about how close in age we are with Aunt Bette. Pug is 81, and I will be 80 next month. We cannot believe we are this old and feel blessed to still be here. Everyday is a blessing. You all were blessed to have Aunt Bette for your mom. I will keep you both in my thoughts, prayers and my heart in hope that time will heal your pain. I love y’all. Beverly
