Kenneth Harold Edghill was born in Jamaica Queens, NY in 1945 as the eldest son of his parents Grace M. Stroud and Kenneth George Edghill. They also bore another son Tony Edghill. At an early age Kenneth joined Grace Episcopal Church where he was an active member and became a Sunday School teacher. He met and remained in contact with his life -long friends that he developed at the church. They have remained devoted to each other over the years.

Kenneth graduated with honors from Fisk University, with a major in Mathematics. After finishing at Fisk, he secured a job at NASA. He also worked at several corporations as a computer programmer and retired as a systems analyst from Pfizer. In 1974 he met a southern lady, Linda Lee Crosby, while they both were residing in New Jersey. They were wedded on April 30th of 1976. To this union, they were blessed with both a daughter and son. They remained in New Jersey to raise their family and lived there until they both retired. Then, they migrated to Savannah to be closer to their children and grandchildren.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, a pharmacist, his mother, a registered nurse, and his brother an engineer. Kenneth leaves to mourn his passing, his wife of 46 years, Linda Lee Crosby -Edghill, his daughter Kenaya (Mallory), his son Kadir (Joy), 4 grandchildren - Kaja, Karissa, Kadir Jr. , Elijah and one grandson on the way. He also leaves to mourn a cousin, Valerie Edgehill-Cuyjet, a dear nephew, Lyal Charles Edghill and a host of family, relatives, and friends. Kenneth was adored by his nieces and nephews and had the ability to make each of them feel special. He was a father figure to many and had the canny ability to be a positive role model in the lives of many.

I Tom and I enjoyed sharing fun times with Kenny and Linda when they were in NJ. Kenny was always a gentle and charming companion with a great sense of humor. We will miss him and keep his wonderful family in our prayers.
