Dorothy Ann Gibbs Anderson
Passed away on June 18, 2022
Dorothy Ann Anderson “Dottie”, 99 years old died June 18, 2022 surrounded by her daughter and granddaughters.
She was born April 19, 1923 in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, and retired in 1976 to Fripp Island, South Carolina until she moved to the Marshes of Skidaway, Savannah, Georgia in 2006.
Surviving are her daughter, Linda Anderson of Palm Beach, Florida and her son Richard Anderson of Bremerton, Washington, her granddaughters Tracy Jacob and Tanya Marsh, grandsons, Alex Anderson, Sebastian Anderson and Galen Anderson and great-granddaughter Adriana Anderson.
The memorial service will be held at Skidaway Island United Methodist Church, Savannah, Georgia, June 30, 2022, at 2:00pm.
The family suggests any remembrances be made to Hospice Savannah, P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, Georgia 31416.
She will be laid to rest alongside her husband in Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, South Carolina.
