Celebrating the life of

Sean Charles Adams

July 15, 1994 - May 07, 2022

Sean Charles Adams

Sean Charles Adams went to be with our Lord on May 7, 2022.  In his short life, he touched so many lives and was much loved.  He will always be remembered for his love of family and for being a good friend to his many friends.

Sean was born in Savannah, GA and was the only son of Charles and Dawn Adams.  He gave his life to Christ, his Lord and Savior and had been a member of Compassion Church his entire life.  He loved being outdoors and active.  As a boy, he played soccer, basketball and baseball and later played football at Calvary Day School in high school.  He had loved working on cars from a young age and developed a wonderful talent as a mechanic.  Growing up, he adored his summers in Maryland visiting his grandfather’s farm and playing with his cousins.  Sean always had fond memories of his “Poppop”.

As a native of Savannah, he grew up with a love for the beach and the ocean. Once when asked whether he would live somewhere other than Savannah he said he could never leave the home he loved.  Sean lived for his boat and fishing.  There were few days off when he was not talking about his boat saying, “Hey, who wants a boat ride.? Let’s go!  Who’s got gas money?”.  He frequently visited is big sister, Robyn, whom he loved very much and would come home boasting about seeing his adorable niece, Hadley.

Our Sean will always be remembered as someone with a heart of gold who would not hesitate to give the shirt off his back for others.  If you needed him, day or night, he was always there trying to find a way to help.

Sean was preceded by his grandmother and grandfather, Reggie and Maryann Layfield of Maryland and Charles and Pauline Adams of Maine.  He is survived by his father, Charles Adams III; mother, Dawn Adams and stepfather, Clint Price; sister Robyn Adams and her daughter, Hadley; his beloved dog, Lily. Many aunts and uncles; Sandra (Sandy) Edelen (his fishing buddy), Nancy Stonnell; Ben Price and Penny Price-Matthews; Roger and Meg Adams, Paul and Jill Adams, Allen and Faye Adams, Steven and Gina Vandez, John and Missy Vandez; and his many cousins in Georgia, Maryland and Maine.

A Visitation will be held at 11:00am and Memorial Service at 12:30pm with a reception following on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at the Savannah Moose Lodge, 2202 Norwood Ave. Savannah,
