Celebrating the life of
Lana Bonnie Phillips
June 17, 1943 - May 12, 2022
Lana Bonnie Phillips, 78, died peacefully in the early morning hours of Thursday, May 12, 2022 with her son, Jerald Phillips by her side.
The Tattnall County, GA native lived most of her life in Savannah and Port Wentworth.
Bonnie was a humble and warm person; she was deeply devoted to her family. Her most important role in life was as a mother, grandmother, and sister.
Bonnie was predeceased by her husband, Jasper Leander Phillips; parents, Henry Calvin and Vincy Poppell Deal; and eight siblings.
She is survived by her son, Jerald and his wife, Shannon Phillips of Rincon; a grandson, Josh Phillips of Statesboro; and several nieces and nephews, including Angie Deal.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 16, 2022 in Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery with Rev. Gabe Cummings officiating.
Jerald I’m sorry to hear the passing of your mom she was a sweet lady. Praying for you and your family during this hard time may the Lord comfort you. God bless
