Freddie was a great man and he will be missed. My love and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

So sorry to see the passing of this kind and generous man. He was a true friend of my dad, John Beam, Sr who seemed to need Mr Freddie way more than the other way around. Mr. King in my presence lived out the teachings of Jesus, showing extraordinary patience and love for others whether they were members of his denomination or not. Pope Francis should make this Francis a Saint.

- John Beam, Jr, Savannah , GA

Although we were not related, Freddie was always Uncle Freddie to me. We met when I became friends with his children in our teens. Our friendship continued through the years. Uncle Freddy was always very good to me. He was always up for a laugh and ready to listen or help when needed. I didn't realize he had passed away until about 3 weeks later. I will always remember him fondly and will miss his him. My prayers are with Karen, Mike, Josephine, and his grandchildren.
