Mason Iler "Woody" Woodward
April 19, 2001 - March 13, 2022
Mason Iler Woodward (Woody) of Cumming & Dawsonville, Georgia, passed away on March 13, 2022. Mason was born at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville, Georgia on April 19, 2001.
Mason loved the Lord and praised Him every day. He relied heavily on his faith to get him through some of his darkest times. Mason always said to “trust your struggle”. He absolutely loved the water-fishing, swimming, crabbing & surfing. He had a passion for sports and loved to play baseball, football, disc-golf, basketball and bull-riding. He was a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, Camp 2135.
Mason is survived by his loving parents, John F. Woodward, Jr. and Barbara A. Crane; stepparents, Lori Woodward & Johnny H. Crane; brother, Evan Woodward; stepbrothers, Chris, Kyle, Jeremy & Ryan; stepsister, Natalie; maternal grandmother, Kathy S. Huggins; paternal grandparents, John & Patricia Woodward, Sr.; cousin, Gidget Woodward and other loving relatives.
Memorial service will on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 11:00 AM, Compassion Christian Church, East Campus, 9150 Old Montgomery Road, Savannah, Georgia 31406. Mason’s pastor, Drew Humphreys, will officiate.
A Celebration of Life for Mason will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Etowah Church, 5693 Kelly Bridge Road, Dawsonville, Georgia 30534 at 1:00 PM.
We love you Barbara, Johnny & Evan. We are so very sorry for the loss of Mason. May he be in absolute peace in our father’s arms.
