Celebrating the life of
Catherine Lorraine Hall
September 08, 1934 - February 21, 2022
Mrs. Catherine Lorraine Hall died peacefully on February, 20, 2022 in Savannah, GA where she had been living for the past seven years. Catherine was born in Washington, D.C on September 8, 1934, to James T. and Elsie Young. She grew up in Norfolk, Virginia and spent most of her life in the areas of Tidewater, Virginia, and Coastal North Carolina. Catherine Hall is the mother of three children, Lorraine Fitzgerald (Marvin), Zane Cavin (Kandi) and Patricia Stout (James). She has four grand-children Mitchell Dennis, Jessica Barnes, Jennifer Cavin, and Tamra Lawrence, five great-grandchildren, Emily, Calab, Naomi, Vivienne, and Juliet. She is survived by two sisters Beverly Jones of Hertford, NC and Peggy Heberlin of Norfolk, VA. The family is working to fulfill her wishes to be returned to coastal North Carolina where a private family ceremony will be held soon.
