Sharon Denise “Sherry”  Wallace, 57, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at home with her family by her side.  Sharon was born April 15, 1964 in Savannah, GA and was a communicant of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  She worked for Aetna in Savannah, before moving to Birmingham, Alabama, then worked as a Communications Coordinator for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama.

Sharon is preceded in death by her father, Wesley Kenneth Wallace.

She is survived by her mother, JoAnn Taylor Wallace, three sisters, Cynthia Bodner (Kenneth) of Ormond Beach, Florida, Lynda Parrish (Stanley) of New Ellenton, SC, and Alesia Harriott (Carey) of Savannah, as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Sharon also leaves behind her faithful companion, her rescue dog, Maggie. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Remembrances may be made to Hospice Savannah, the Humane Society of Savannah, the Diabetes Association, or American Heart Association, or the Kidney Association.
