Celebrating the life of

William "Bill" R. Klein

October 19, 1949 - January 22, 2022

William

William “Bill” R. Klein, 72, died January 22, 2022

Born in Columbus, Ohio on October 19, 1949, he lived in Savannah most of his life. Graduated from Jenkins High School. Went to Armstrong College for many years just to be the tennis court supervisor and finally graduated with a BS in Business. He retired from the Army National Guard. He pursued his dream of flying, becoming a private pilot. He was well liked and respected at the airport. His other passion was going to the shooting range with friends, nephews, and nieces. He enjoyed sitting by the pond with his pond buddies.

He was preceded in death by his parents Nelson B. Klein, Betty C. Klein, and brother Thomas Klein. Leaving behind is his “sister Sue” Sue K. rains, 3 nephews and a niece. He was known to 12 great nephews and nieces as Uncle Bill.

There will be no service here. We will take him to Ohio to be laid to rest with his parents.

He will be forever loved – forever fly free!
