Joan Saturday Brogdon
Passed away on January 16, 2022
Joan Saturday Brogdon passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022 in Savannah. Joan, a native of Savannah, was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Clayton Brogdon, Sr.; her parents, Robert and Willie Saturday; her brother, Bill Saturday; and her twin sister, Jean Jeffries.
Joan had a passion for the Lord and enjoyed serving him in many ways. She retired as secretary to the Director of Missions, Savannah Baptist Association.
She is survived by her sons, Clayton, Jr. (Tina) of Savannah, GA, Ricky (La’Ree) of Cumming, GA; Survivors also include four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Fox & Weeks, Hodgson Chapel.
The funeral service will be Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Fox & Weeks, Hodgson Chapel.
Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Immanuel Church, Next Generation Ministries.
Clayton and Tina, What a precious Godly lady Joan was. One of my highlights in service to Immanuel was the privilege to meet and pray with her. Love you all much. God bless and we will see her again. . Psalm 34.
