Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.
Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, Catherine Brown Barefoot, passed away peacefully after a short illness on Wednesday, May 30, 2018. A 25 year plus resident of The Landings, Cathie was very active with various clubs and organizations and enjoyed a busy schedule throughout her time in Savannah. An active member of Messiah Lutheran, Cathie cherished the fellowship and love of her church.
A prior resident of Greenwich, Connecticut, she was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, J. Kirk Barefoot.
A memorial visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
The memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1 West Ridge Way, Savannah, GA 31411.
Remembrances may be made in Cathie's honor to Messiah Lutheran Church, 1 West Ridge Road, Savannah, GA 31411.
