Celebrating the life of
Mark D. Todd
Passed away on January 10, 2022
Mark Douglas Todd, 72, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022 at Memorial Health. He was born June 1, 1949 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Leonard and Delores Todd. He attended Virginia Tech and Duke University, where he graduated with a master’s degree in chemical engineering. Mark retired from Kemira as a Chemical Engineer, and then continued working as a consultant with companies in Georgia and Florida.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Douglas Todd.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Peggy Todd of Powhatan, Virginia, his grandson, Vasher Cannon Todd, his former wife, Kathleen Merk Todd, and his many friends on Wilmington Island.
A Visitation will be held Friday, January 14, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Fox & Weeks, Islands Chapel.
The wearing of face masks is required, and appreciated by the family.
Mark was a dear friend and will be sorely missed. He worked for me in Jiaozuo, China in 2019. All of our Chinese colleagues from Lomon Billions Group send their love.
