Our deepest sympathy to your family. We came to know Edie through her niece, Karen. What a delightful, sweet, kind and feisty lady she was! I will remember her dancing so joyfully at her grand-niece’s wedding! Our thoughts and prayers are with you all as you grieve her passing. Alisa

Edith and I worked together for many years at the Savannah Morning News. Edith was very sweet, loving, and quiet. Edith was a snazzy dresser who loved her family dearly...Shopping in Savannah, I would run into Edith and her sister. We shared many good times together...rest in Heaven..until we all see each other again..

- Carolyn DeVillers, Savannah, Ga

I met Edith at church when her and her sister used to sit together on the 4th row back on left side at First Christian church. Then for the last 6 years she lived at home I was lucky enough to go and visit and share life with her every evening. She loved animals and she loved her Christmas trees. She was a very lovely and graceful lady. We will miss her very much!! God Bless!!
