Jane Fraser Bowen

Jane Fraser Bowen died peacefully Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at her home.  She leaves behind her husband of 64 years, William E. Bowen of Savannah, three children, Donald Fraser Bowen (Catherine) of Richmond Hill, GA, William Andrew Bowen (Melissa) of Savannah, and Rebecca Bowen Boggs (Karl) of Virginia Beach, VA, grandchildren, Lennox Boggs, Stiles Bowen (Tia), Mason Bowen, Margaret Boggs, Evelyn Bowen, Woodrow Alexander Bowen, and several nieces and nephews. 

Mrs. Bowen taught first grade for 15 years at St. Simons Elementary, and was member of the Wesley United Methodist Church of St. Simons, the Colonial Dames of America, and the St. Simons Cotillion.  She was also a member of the Skidaway Island United Methodist Church.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, January 11, 2022 in the chapel of Skidaway Island United Methodist Church at 10:00 a.m., with inurnment in the church garden.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests remembrances be made to Hospice Savannah, P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.
