Linda A. Iwanski, 79, of Richmond Hill, GA, died Wednesday, December 15, 2021, peacefully in her home after a courageous fight with cancer.

Born August 19, 1942, in Oswego, NY, she lived in Richmond Hill the last 27 years. She was also a resident of Vandergrift, PA for 15 years. Mrs. Iwanski was a communicant of St. Anne Catholic Church in Richmond Hill.

Mrs. Iwanski was preceded in death by her husband, F. Lawrence Iwanski; brother, William F. Mullen; and sister, Sr. Rose Marie Mullen, OSF.

Survivors include sons, Joseph M. Iwanski of Richmond Hill and Lawrence M. Iwanski (Fran) of Fayetteville, NC; daughter, Kate Iwanski of Richmond Hill; brothers in-law, Ed Iwanski (Marianne) and Len Iwanski (Kathleen). Mrs. Iwanski is also survived by granddaughters, Shayla, Hannah, Hali, Keevyn; and beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

Linda’s strength and comfort would not have been possible during her battle without the unwavering commitment from so many people. Thank you to Deedie Love Davis for your love and devotion. We are blessed to have you as part of the family. Thank you to Grace and Janie for your faith, love, and dedication to Linda’s care and well-being. We were blessed to have you by her side for so many days and weeks. Thank you to the Compassus Hospice team of nurses and aides, especially Crystal for her daily commitment to Linda’s comfort. Your care made her journey much more tranquil. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m,, beginning with the rosary at 6:00 p.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church. 

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at St. Anne Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Catholic Cemetery in Savannah. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Knights of Columbus 10866, St. Anne Catholic Church, 10550 Ford Ave., Richmond Hill, GA, 31328.
