William "Bobby" Dewitt, Jr.

William Robert “Bobby” DeWitt, Jr., 64, passed away Friday, December 3, 2021 at his home.  He was born October 27, 1957 to the late William R. DeWitt, Sr. and Selby Hutchinson DeWitt.  William attended Savannah Christian Preparatory School, Jenkins High School, and Savannah Technical College.  He retired from Kraton Corporation at International Paper.  He was an avid golfer, who played every week at Mary Calder Golf Course.  He was a gun enthusiast, loved working with tools, spending time outdoors, especially working in his yard.   

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mike DeWitt.

Surviving are his daughter, Megan Conneff (Andrew), sons, Nicholas DeWitt, and Joseph DeWitt, brothers, Ansley DeWitt, and Jeff DeWitt.  Also surviving are two grandchildren, Kyle and Austin DeWitt, and great-granddaughter, Gracelyn DeWitt. 

A Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Fox & Weeks, Hodgson Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
