Elmyra (Bobby) Roberta Sempsrott Fields

Elmyra Roberta Sempsrott Fields "Bobby", 92, died Tuesday morning, November 30th, 2021 at Spanish Oaks Retreat .

Born in Detroit Michigan, Bobby was the daughter of the late Glenneth Oliver Sempsrott, and Effie Mable O’Dell Sempsrott. She was a member of the White Bluff United Methodist Church.

Bobby was a retired artist and held a business college degree. She loved spending time with her family, skeet shooting, playing golf, boating, playing bridge, dancing, singing and bowling. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Sheffy Fields, Jr.; and a son, Gerald “Jerry” Sheffy Fields III.

Surviving are a daughter, Jamie Fields-Scholten and her husband Ray; a son, Stephen “Steve” M. Fields and his wife, Carolyn Spahr; seven grandchildren, Jessie Swafford and her husband James, Katie Mixon, Christina Scholten-Hayden and her husband James, David Fields, Emerald Fields Barker and her husband Devon, Mary Fields, and Cody Fields; six great grand-grandchildren, Jacob Swafford, Julia Swafford, Ryan Mixon, Bradley Mixon, and Angelina Mixon, and Isla Barker.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel with Rev. Jim Giddens officiating.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
