Doris Davis Boice

Doris Davis Boice, 87, peacefully passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, under the care of Spanish Oaks Hospice.

To: Family & Friends of Mrs. Doris, "Way Back" in the late '60s, I had the privilege of meeting and then becoming lifelong friends with Mrs. Doris and Mr. Kenneth Boice. Images of their friendly smiling faces and memories of their positive spirits of faith & encouragement will always remain with me as preciously permanent "icons" of support & comfort. I thank God especially for their profound statements of faith in the finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ as the basis for their salvation. Their lives clearly demonstrated the peace that they found from this personal assurance of eternal life (in accordance with the "tried & proven" integrity of God's Word, The Holy Bible [John 3:16]). It is most comforting to know that, through this same faith, all of us can see Mrs. Doris & Mr. Kenneth again ! It has been even more encouraging to see even more "faith in action" as Mrs. Doris has remained very consistent in her enthusiastic Christian spirit of worship & service as well as remaining to be the same sweet friend to all of us throughout the 20 years since Mr. Kenneth passed away! My wife, Susie & I are equally appreciative. Gratefully, Franklin & Susie Thomas

Cousin Doris was a beautiful soul inside, and beautiful on the outside too, I credit her for helping me see my Mother, and helping me to connect with the family. I shall miss her sweet smile and laughter. So sorry I missed the last part of her life. I would have been there for her if I could have been. Condolences to the whole family.
