Marcia Caroline Elkins Cook

Marcia passed away peacefully on Friday, November 5, 2021.  

Marcia was born in Ridgeland, SC to the late William Robertson Elkins and Freda Irwin Elkins.  She was a graduate of Wylie E Groves High School.   

Marcia was a dear and outgoing lady who made a friend wherever she was.  She had a quick wit and a generous heart.  Marcia was passionate about American Patriotism and instilled that belief in those around her.  She was active in the community both as a volunteer and the owner of several local businesses.  Marcia walked a life of faith and lived by it in her church community.  She was a proud member of The Huguenot Society of SC and The National League of Colonial Dames.

Marcia is survived by her son, Andrew Davant Cook; granddaughter, Reagan Davant Cook; daughter-in-law, Kristy Ann Cook of Celebration, FL; niece, Caroline Adams Warner and her husband, George Edwin Warner of Savannah and their daughters; Katharine Drayton Warner and Mary Porcher Seawright Warner; nephews, Wyman Reid Adams of Denver, CO, and Dr. Richard Davant Adams of Charleston, SC

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at  Independent Presbyterian Church, 

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Independent Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund,  207 Bull St., Savannah, GA 31401.
