James J. Trabue

Passed away on October 28, 2021

James J. Trabue

James Joseph Trabue, 79, died Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.  He was retired from BellSouth.  He was born April 2, 1942 in Connersville, Indiana to the late James and Margery Trabue.  James was a U.S. Navy Veteran, and was awarded the Good Conduct metal and a Honorable discharge.  He was a member of Thunderbolt Lodge #693 and the National Rifle Association.  He attended grade school in Savannah, GA, Connersville, IN, and Lawrence, IN., junior high school in Lawrence, IN, and high school in Savannah, GA graduating from H.V. Jenkins High School.  He worked for R.C. Roebling on Modena Plantation at Skidaway Island as an assistant to David C. Doddridge. 

Surviving are his wife, Lynn F. Trabue of Thunderbolt, GA, two sons, James C. Trabue of Thunderbolt, GA and Jeff P. Trabue of Thunderbolt, GA, granddaughter and best friend, Cali Faith Trabue of Thunderbolt, GA, one sister, Mrs. Joyce Anne Wolfe of Hunlock Creek, PA, brother-in-law, James Cook, thirteen cousins, and three nieces and two nephews.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Fox & Weeks, Islands Chapel. 

Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Fox & Weeks, Islands Chapel.  Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

Remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
