Diane Belitskus

Diane Belitskus died early Saturday morning, October 23rd, at St. Joseph Candler Hospital in Savannah GA. 

Diane was born in Pittsburgh, PA, and lived most of her life in New Kensington, PA, before moving to Georgia. Foremost a wife and mother, Diane was highly committed to prayer and supporting anyone in need. She was a dedicated servant to Jesus Christ and the Episcopal Church, a proud grandmother, and previous Executive Director for Habitat of Humanity Allegheny Valley.

Diane’s favorite moments since moving to Tybee Island included hosting visitors, taking walks on the beach around sunrise, collecting conch shells, and watching the cargo ships coming and going from all over the world.

In addition to her husband David; Diane leaves behind her son, David L. Belitskus Jr. (Nancy) of Okatie, SC; son, Dean Belitskus (Tanya) of Middletown, DE; son Daniel Belitskus (Angela) of Skippack, PA; daughter, Debra Belitskus (Aroon) of Savannah, GA; 6 grandchildren; Kelsey & David Belitskus; Emily & Heather Belitskus; Daniel & Dylan Belitskus; brother David Laskey (Judy) of New Kensington, PA; brother Van Laskey of Cheswick, PA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A service will be scheduled for a future date. Any memorial donations can be directed to Tybee Clean Beach, Habitat for Humanity, or make a contribution to your favorite charity in Diane’s name.
