I know they're really aren't any words that can bring comfort at a time like this, but I love you all very much and am so incredibly sorry to hear about your loss. We had so many fun times together through the years, I think about Sapelo Island all the time and wish we could flash back to the good old days. I'm praying for you to all find some sort of comfort, somehow. I love you all, so much.

Jay was my first/best friend our first year together at Jenkins. We drifted apart as people often do, but I will always remember his smile, & going to his house when we were green teenagers in the 70's. It's truly a tragedy that his life has ended. I am so sorry for the family & friends of Jay and Vicki, and I will pray for your healing. How FRUITLESS words are at a time like this. God bless everyone that is hurt by the loss of my old friend.

We were lucky enough to spend time with Jay at his grand daughters birthday parties and on vacation. Our kids loved him as he was so kind to them. He always had a smile on his face and always had great stories to share. Despite his successes and accomplishments he was extremely humble and enjoyable to be around. He is a great man that will be missed dearly.
