Passed away on October 14, 2021
Ezra Roy Willis, 87, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021 at his home under the care of his family and Hospice Savannah. He was born March 21, 1934 in Hay Springs, Nebraska to the late Warren and Lois Willis. Mr. Willis retired from the U.S. Air Force, as well as the U.S. Postal Service, where he was a mail handler.
He was an avid golfer, loved to work in his rose garden and maintaining his tropical fish aquariums.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Carter Willis.
Surviving are his six children, Roy “Butch” Willis of Pooler, GA, Michael “Mike” Willis (Stacey) of Savannah, GA, Scott Willis (Nicole) of Savannah, GA, Robin Harley of Savannah, GA, Nancy Keith of Savannah, GA, Constance “Connie” Hotchkiss (David) of Bluffton, SC. Also surviving are his 17 grandchildren, 20 great- grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Fox & Weeks, Hodgson Chapel.
Graveside Service will be 12:00 noon, Monday, October 18, 2021 at Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
