Betty Louise Sikes Lord
October 14, 1929 - October 07, 2021
Betty Louise Sikes Lord, 91, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Resorts at Pooler.
Betty was born in Savannah, October 14, 1929, to Bertis Breckley Sikes and Anniebell Waters Sikes. Her family has fond memories of her love of crafts and music. The great-grandchildren enjoyed the time spent doing her hair and nails.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Clarence Lord.
Survivors include her children, James Christopher Lord (Brenda), Brenda Keen; grandchildren, Kristina Keen Willis, Jonathan “J.C.” Keen, and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, October 11, 2021, at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Bonaventure Cemetery.
