Hard to believe she's gone. I have so many great memories with Helen. My fondest memories of visiting Savannah as a child always featured lurking at Helen's desk in the backroom of the Christmas Shop. I thought she was so elegant and had impeccable style (I stand by this appraisal as an adult) and was in total awe of her. And she was kind enough to tolerate my likely annoying child-self lingering for far too long. She was one of a kind & will be greatly missed. My thoughts go out to those closest to her.

So sorry for your loss. I remember Mary Helen from SHS. We shared lots of girl secrets and had good times in class and at lunch ( in the stairwell). She had a beautiful smile. She was a very nice person. Praying for you all.

- Glenda Hall Ferris, Pooler, Ga
