Connie Littlefield King

Connie Littlefield King

Connie L. King was a devoted and beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She went to be with the Lord on Wednesday evening, September 15, 2021, after a short illness at 67 years old. 

Connie was born on November 21, 1953 to Anton and Carolyn Littlefield in Jesup, Georgia. She graduated from Wayne County High School in 1971. She went on to complete her undergraduate and master’s degrees in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southern College. Connie was a lifelong educator. She worked with her grandchildren and students at Memorial Day School, where she was an active board member. She attended church at The Sanctuary of Savannah. 

Connie and Kenny, had just celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary on August 12th, 2021. She valued family above all else and relished playing games, traveling, spending time with, and helping out her family. 

She leaves behind her loving husband, Kenneth Randall King; children, Kevin Randall King (Stephanie) and Benjamin Allen King (Anna Kathryn); grandchildren, Jordan McKenzie King, Macey Elle King, Collin Parker Amerson; sister-in-law, Sharon Reddish (Kenneth); nieces and nephews, Amy Stipe (Billy), Alex Reddish (Cindy), Sean Reddish; cousins, Paula Pinyan, Pam Thompson, Rhonda Blocker, Lynn Parker; and her Black Lab, Millie King.

She is predeceased by her parents Robert Anton Littlefield and Carolyn Pinyan Littlefield.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Fox and Weeks, Hodgson Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

There will be a private family burial at Hillcrest Abbey East Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers; remembrances in honor of Connie King may be sent to Memorial Day School, 6500 Habersham Street, Savannah, GA 31405.

When I was 12 I lived in Jesup for 3 months while my father was stationed overseas. Connie befriended me early on and made the short time in Jesup easier for me.
