Michael Joseph D’Ottavio, III, 43, died Friday, September 10, 2021 at Candler Hospital in Savannah.
The lifelong resident of Savannah was born on July 26, 1978 to Margaret Ida “Peggy” and Michael Joseph D’Ottavio, Jr. He was a graduate of Jenkins High School and attended Armstrong State College. Michael was a security supervisor with Savannah International Trade and Convention Center for more than 10 years. He was unapologetically authentic and was known for his passion for cooking and genuinely enjoyed feeding his family the most. Michael loved his family. He was a devoted husband, brother, and friend.
Michael leaves behind his wife, Beth Spann D’Ottavio; a brother, Dominick D’Ottavio (Peggy Garcia); special friend, Jori Federlick; and several other friends and family that will miss him dearly.
Graveside service will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park with Rev. Gabe Cummings officiating.
