Celebrating the life of

Josephine Dulohery Dye

January 10, 1946 - September 07, 2021

Josephine Dulohery Dye

On September 7, 2021, Josephine “Phine” Dulohery Dye, 75, died peacefully at Hospice House, Savannah.

A lifelong resident of Savannah, Phine was born on January 10, 1946 to the late Cornelius J. Dulohery, Sr. and Mary Clare Lang Dulohery. She began her education at Sacred Heart Catholic School and later graduated in the Savannah High School Class of 1964.

Phine loved people and she was loved by many. She had a servant’s heart and in following that personal vocation, she went back to school later in life and became a Registered Nurse. It was in this vocation that she was most happy to serve others.

In addition to her parents, Phine was predeceased by her brother, Jerry Dulohery. She leaves behind her loving daughter and son-in-law, Natalie and Wade Simmons; and granddaughter, Chelsea Clare Dye. She is also survived by sisters, Clare Dulohery Frew and Lucy Dulohery Behr; sister-in-law, Margaret Stegin Dulohery; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is being planned and will be announced by Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
