Weldon Larry Parker, Sr.

Weldon Larry Parker, Sr., 85, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at his residence.

He was born in Woodcliff, GA May 13,1936 to Emerson and Ruth Burke Parker. He was a graduate of Benedictine Military School, class of 1954, and attended the University of North Carolina.

He was an avid golfer and frequently visited with Spanky’s Gang.

Survivors include his children, Angela Hunter (Brian), Weldon Parker, Jr. (Emmie), Audrey Overstreet (Mark), Jon Parker (Beth); seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and brother, Earl Taylor.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 13, 2021, at Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
