A candle has been lit!

I just found out today about Susan’s death. I truly have lost a very special person in this life! I have SO many Susan stories from my years in Resource Development w Chatham County DFACS. Susan normally appeared w a big smile, the friendly comforting voice, and a hug. And I remember John and Susan’s mother. I remember most Susan’s huge heart and love for so many. And I knew she could be strict. She said enough and did enough to fill an entire universe. This world has lost another treasure but her story, love, devotion, clothes washed, meals cooked, medical visits and follow up, and her sparkling eyes and help from her family is a true love story. I will always remember her. Peace and God’s speed!

I am at a lost to hear this. I met Susan over 40 years ago when I came to work at CCDS. She helped me out a lot to learn what to do and how to interact with our population. Susan loved them. The most impressive Susan story I carry with me is her going out of her way to pick me up for work to make sure that I got there. She would even send John to take if she wasn't going. Susan was a wealth of knowledge and info on anything concerning the individuals she cared for, SCCPSS (schools) and the state of Ga.
