Passed away on July 29, 2021

Phil M. Hope

Phil M. Hope passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 29, 2021 with his wife by his side at Hospice Savannah, Inc.

He was born in Jesup, GA where he graduated from Wayne County High School.  Phil later attended Young-Harris College and ultimately graduated with a degree from Armstrong State College.  He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant.  Phil was a retired jeweler from Friedman's Jewelers, a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church and the Alee Temple Shrine.

Surviving is his wife of eight years, Joyce B. Hope; children, Joella, Robbie and Michael Hope; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Phil to St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 2 St. Thomas Ave., Savannah, GA 31406.
