Eduardo C. Fontanilla
July 02, 1948 - July 17, 2021
Eduardo C. Fontanilla, 73 years old, died at St Joseph’s Hospital, Saturday, July 17, 2021, after a short illness, surrounded by his loved ones.
He was born in San Jacinto, Pangasinan Philippines and lived in Savannah for over 20 years. He graduated with bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Mapua Institute of Technology Manila, Philippines.
Surviving are his wife, Elvessa Fontanilla (44 years of marriage); four children, AJ, and daughter-in-law, Kazuyo Hira, Eduardo Jr., Ryan and Ryan E., daughter, Denise and son-in-law, David Flynn; two grandchildren, Cielle and Andre.
Surviving siblings are Ernesto, Rebecca, Jessie, Gerry, Purita, Virgil, Lina, and Rene.
The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 20, 2021, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. Burial will be private.

So sorry for the loss of your husband and a great father. Ed was a fellow teacher at Savannah Tech and a wonderful friend. We worked together as contractors. I will also miss Ed as you will too. Don't hesitate to call me if there is anything I can do to help you.
